WestJet Airlines adds non-stop flights to Vancouver from London
WestJet Airlines announced today it will begin non-stop flights between London and Vancouve r. Flights are scheduled to begin June 29, 2016 and operate four times each week .
"This is great newsfor our airport and southwestern Ontario, " said Mike Seabrook, President & CEO at London International Airport. "Vancouver is one of our topfive most requested destinations from London and the direct flights will be very popular with both the business and leisure traveler".
WestJet's service between London and Vancouver will operate under the following schedule:

"WestJet continues to demonstrate their commitment to the London market" adds Seabrook. "This summer WestJet 's capacity in London will increase by almost 70% over the equivalent period in 2015. The Vancouver flights, the new Westjet Encore flights that start March 15 in London, plus the existing service to Calgary and Winnipeg will provide our travelers with a combination of direct and connecting service to the WestJet world!"
WestJet has also indicated that their capacity plans for 2016 are fluid and they will continue to adjust schedules and stimulate demand to optimize results. "What this means is that the success of 2016 summer service in London will determine if the route is viable for thefuture.
